Indian culture and its heritage sometime impose emotional traumas in people which always I feel is the worst for any human kind to digest. Emotional tragedies are always difficult to swallow particularly when issues are related to human values importance and character. The character of the particular society and tradition based on cultural and religious background often imposes unbelievable trauma into any mankind particularly in India when people respect the importance of its origin. The origin of the customs and traditions we follow is often overlooked with myth and stupidity which shall nowhere be and should never be related to any one when the issue arises to challenge the living of anyone and challenges the whole purposes of origin of the tradition custom religion and mankind himself. What should me the motto of living?
I feel the motto should be to let others live. Isn’t it? What is the ultimate need to survive in this world which is always rotten with non-human values cultural and traditional imposes on self and others with amalgamation of religious stupidity to make anyone in this world to live a horrible and yet difficult life? Happiness… isn’t it?
Happiness in the form of zero emotional dangers for self and others. How can one achieve this when he is always subdued in this crap of living hell? Is it always fine with everyone to impose customs and tradition and religious filthiness for the sake of benefit for the self? How to overcome it? Come out of all these with the word called freedom of self and not to care a shit of anything but self freedom which never crosses boundary of self and never enters others freedom.
Human emotions why it disturbs our living? Why can’t we live a happy life where no one around is facing an issue because of us? Atheism teaches us to make others happy and see god in it. I am not asking to scrap your head and give to those who don’t have. Any charity or help or need is you do which you can survive without it. Forgiving one for the mistake he or she has done which becomes a past is ethical and sensible and the needful.
These are some of my minute thoughts which came to my mind which disturbed me for a whole day. I became dumb as dead cockroach after watching this film. This is one of several movies which challenged my emotions to the core.
This is the movie which is meant for those who take the happenings of the movie into real life and take emotions as real. They don’t differentiate real with reel. Reel is carbon copy of real.
Zeenat is on search for a widow of a person who is accidently killed by her husband. The emotional journey makes you melt which reaches in your deep heart that translates the deepest emotion to get the maafinama for her husband. It translates into celluloid the live portrayal of the society. The courage in which she starts her eternal journey to save her husband is beautifully described. Zeenat translates into celluloid what today’s women are. Emotions are dutifully described as words and expressions not into in the form of liquid called tears. Man, believe it or not my 3 year long wait to see this movie has made me mad.
Well I couldn’t ask for more which pinched hard into my soul about today’s society which has corrupted each and every individual mind.
Dor unveils one emotion after the other – intimacy, loneliness, grief, hope, resignation, oppression, guilt, greed, contempt, liberation and of course love. Yes, most of the story is heartbreaking but the narration is beautifully executed and has enough light moments to keep your interest alive. This tale is about two women from diverse backgrounds having common aspirations – but while one has the courage and confidence to make her own choices, the other is resigned to her fate.
This is not a review or any kind of article. It’s a post in perfect blogging terms on an issue which challenged my emotion.

In Search of Realm of Life : Ganges, Trip to Gaumukh Part – II

How can Indians Worship a river as Goddess?  How can people pollute the river and yet call the river as Goddess? How could people pollute the river and say the sins of the believers are washed away? How can the paradox of believing the river in the form of goddess in one hand and performing acts that leads to the rape of the river in other hand could be explained
Will Ganges the goddess die if the river did? Is it faith, literally blind to the extreme stress it puts its goddess through, whether it be plastic bags, dead bodies, or human waste thrown in and from which the river is believed to cleanse itself miraculously, that is killing the river?
Is urban India’s insatiable thirst sucking the river dry? A whole culture to blame for its own imminent demise. The devotion in Ganges is stronger and blinder than ever and that is killing its sanity. The devotion of Ganges is unparalleled by the virtue of the people who are killing it without any remorse. Ganges for Indians is more than just a river.
In the minds and hearts of Indians the solution to this paradox is the stupid cold-blooded feeling that makes them feel; what is the problem if we pour our garbage into the river and suck her dry? Ganges can always survive and purify herself.
Precisely, she is goddess. The state of Yamuna across Delhi is what we Indians want to happen to the largest perennial river of India, sacred mother Goddess Ganga.
PS: Ganges is anglicized name of the river Ganga, which is called as Ganga in Hindi and most other Indian languages.
