Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan , World’s one of the well known genius of Sufi and Qawalli singer, was born in Faisalabad in Pakistan. He was trained under his uncle Nusrat Sahib which is no mere coincidence but with his virtue of sheer knowledge and born talent, he mastered his born talent of Sufi singing and became world reckoning singer at young age. My intention of blogging on him was to salute his way of singing and mastering which happened to me , to listen some of the songs from Bombay Cinema.

For MoTA its s well known fact that I have made myself a fan of Rahat , but eventually I wanted to take this opportunity to share my views on him and some of my favorites. I would start with mentioning the first song I happened to get mesmerize was the OSO song ‘Jag suna Suna’. OSO became a musical hit with all the songs beautifully filmed . Particularly I liked the song Jag suna suna which had rahat’s touch of brilliance. With exponentially beautiful style of Sufi singing it was made easy to look, but marvelously laid singing and was equally appreciated by the audience. Ore Piya from Aaja Nachle , Bolna Halke from JBJ and Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaaye from Kalyug and songs from Paap : Mann ki lagan are all my desktop favorites. I watched some of his live performance thanks to You tube and was amazed with his style of singing. Seriously he is blessed with great talent and is a genius and come from a family which is world known.

wEEKEND pASS tIME…

My last weekend was marvelous with entertainment. Though my weekend usually is one day week end extending till Monday afternoon, I enjoyed sitting on my bed and doing all these. Just a snap into this. After spending the way I enjoyed and also busy on weekdays, I just managed to write this post. Much is happening in Mot and I don’t want to miss my regular posts. Hence I decided to peep in the way I spend my last week end.
I managed to start my day with watching Vinnaithandi Varuvaya for fourth time in my laptop. This movie with my previous review on the same you could have gauged it, it has become my one of all time favorite movies. People who are not in for watching movie, please vouch for listening the songs the least and ARR won’t disappoint you. I bet. After romance I decided to change my theme to drama and i felt humbled enough on my enthusiasm after watching Rajni in Thalapathy directed by Mani Ratnam. I m not in for counting how many times I would have watched this movie and every time I watch this , this movie makes me feel , you are watching a movie of a Best known Director and a real super star. Music is by illairaja and I envy him. Though the plot is similar to Karna – Duruyodhana Friendship of Maha bharatha saga, the modern day themed epic was natural and it’s a typical Mani’s Film.

After watching back to back movies , I finished my breakfast somewhere down Sunday afternoon when you all might finished your nap after lunch.

Though a regular book / Fiction / Novel reader , it is ironic to start a book of Sidney Shelton for the first time. Yes First time in my life , my hands managed to read book written by Sidney. Started managed to complete a fourth of the book . Yeah vaithee, Sidney is not bad and you can ask motaites to recommend the works of Sidney. Then I managed to read the hindu, its special on Sunday and the only respectful News paper in English, I believe. I m also half through midnight children …. Review to come soon

Between movies and books, I did manage to listen to some music. Rather it became my all time hobby to play some songs. That usually happens with most of you. I started to listen some carnatic annamayya Kirthanai’s from abhisek rahguram and then started listening classics of ARR, my all time fav songs such as dil se re and Minsara kanavu and Connections when I was on drive. Jiya se jiya I bet is the best song when u are on drive. Kanner poventi (Malayalam) the list goes on.
did manage to watch snips of IPL and kamal Hassan interview in NDTV. Then managed to see the reality music show in star plus, not much in television front….

Spending time in movies and books with songs has become my aura in life and I feel , I managed to pass my time without having look into the watch. Life goes on.

Leader ... a Review

Leader … a telugu movie directed by Sekar Kamula is an exceptional and inspirational movie. Though the plot of the movie is based on a Harvard return young Chap who becomes CM and transforms the entire State, which we have seen many times in recent years, i vouch for the perfect treatment in the screen play and Man the hero … Rana (playing character of Arjun ) grand son of Established producer Shri . Rama Naidu with his aggressive tone and perfect dialogue delivery… He impressed me a lot.

The Story Begins with assassination of CM which is played by Suman . In his death bed he requests his son to be come the next CM. Soon after the Death of his father , arjun realizes how corrupt his father was. Whether Arjun becomes CM, How did u get his majority proven, what tricks he plays , How long he sustains , what he does to public… The Transformation from Politician to Leader is marvelously tracked in the ‘ma telugu talli song’ .

Background Song is awesome…. songs generally adds to scene in BG that sustains the pace of the movie…. Must watch movie just for the director who proved he is worth again… and to celebrate the next star Rana.

Gorgeous Love . . .

Hiding your face in the beautiful dress of sunset,

You reveal your soul as a full moon,

It is better you turn to face me ,

My heavenly love in store for you.

Are you the evening sun

Drenched in the cool waters of the sea

To quench your heat and glitter as gold,

And that is my joy when I see you,

Ever-beautiful moonly form!
