Atheism and Theism

This is a topic which always haunts me in my sleep and I desperately want to conclude which has no conclusion. As defined, theism is in the broadest sense is the belief in at least one deity. In a more specific sense, theism refers to a particular doctrine concerning the nature of God and his relationship to the universe. Theism, in this specific sense, conceives of God as personal and active in the governance and organization of the world and the universe. The use of the word theism as indicating a particular doctrine of monotheism arose in the wake of the scientific revolution of the seventeenth century to contrast with the then emerging deism which contended that God — though transcendent and supreme — did not intervene in the natural world and could be known rationally but not via revelation. Atheism can be either the rejection of theism, or the position that deities do not exist. In the broadest sense, it is the absence of belief in the existence of deities. Atheism tends towards skepticism regarding supernatural claims, citing a lack of empirical evidence. Common rationales include the problem of evil, the argument from inconsistent revelations, and the argument from no belief. Other arguments for atheism range from the philosophical to the social to the historical. Although some atheists tend toward secular philosophies such as humanism, rationalism, and naturalism, there is no one ideology or set of behaviors to which all atheists adhere. Start Music. What are the factors does one need to consider when he discovers himself and differentiates between these two broader categories? What is the basic difference in following these two in today’s living generation? Does God really prevail in real? In what way? Strong atheist says there isn’t any god. Should I believe this? Weak atheist says I have not seen. Can I believe this? Does God have any structure shape and size? Can we see or can’t we? Does the sculptures books epics are just novels and art works? Do we infer any serious mythological understanding in this? Can’t we see God in human? Why people believe things they don’t see and unbelief on things they see?

While I was answering to these questions I came up with a story which I read in an article by Late CM of TN. Here it goes. The zamindar of the house was reading news paper sitting and relaxing him on a dancing chair. He was frustrated as his servant has not come for couple of days and put on uninitiated leave. Servant entered the hall and on frustration the zamindar asked where the hell he was for last couple of days? The servant replied in a submersible tone that he was away to pay respect to Lord Thillai Natraja, avatar of Lord Shiva presiding deity in famous temple Chidambaram. Zamindar asked how his trip was and did he paid his respect. The servant replied yes. Zamindar asked the servant to stand on one foot like the avatar of the deity. The servant performed this act and was not able to stand more than couple of minutes. The zamindar asked why you are slipping and asked him to stand like the god, the deity. Losing his strength the servant landed his foot and said, zamindar sahib the deity is made of stone and He was a human, hence it is impossible to stand like that. Sarcastically proving his point the zamindar asked the servant, to see the stone why did he travel to Chidambaram, we can see at back of house. Conclusion of this post and the story is as simple to prove a point when people can see god in adjacent hearts and soul and people can pay respect upon themselves as each soul is god what is the need of an external constitution to believe as a god. I was seriously moved by this article and find answered to all my queries. P.S. I m an atheist and a weak atheist who developed a habit of seeing God and so called super natural powers in nature and I worship fellow lives as those called god. Any medium of this post if it affects anyone here and everywhere is apologetic and request from my side to read and mean as it is written.
